Blood In Spit

hi, When i spit, blood comes out but then it stops. should i be concerned? I do not feel pain. I have no injuries to my mouh nor to any other area of my body.

You might be straining your throat as that is one of the most common causes. If you have fever as well, then it is of more concern.

Hi, the bleeding may be from the gums or the throat. Please go for a complete oral and throat examination. You need to go for through scaling if the bleeding is from gums. You may be suffering from gingivitis or periodontitis. You dentist will be able to diagnose and treat the problem. Hope this helps you. Take care!
