Blood On Surface Of Stools, Abdomen Pain, No Empty Feeling After Constipation. What Could Be This?

good morning. Im 17 years old and I had some research regarding colon cancer and read that it can attack people of any age. And i also notice that the symptoms of colon cancer are more likely those of hemorrhoids. I'm worried doc so could you please tell me the common differences of the two ?
There's blood on the surface of my stools, sometimes it drops down directly from my anus, sometimes my abdomen aches, and usually, I don't feel empty after constipation.

Hi and welcome to Healthcare magic. Thank you for your querry.
YOu just get worried with no reason. It can be foun dinany age but most common >55. This is extremely are in youngs at your age, really extremely rare. Hemorrhoids arent risk factor for cance. This is just possible that cancer can manifest on the exact way as hemorrhoids. Colon cancer is not found in anus bit rectum usually. YOu probably have hemorrhoids, fisure or polyps. YOu should do proctologosit work up and folow his recommendation. WIsh you good health.

Hello
welcome to healtharemagic.
Although colon cacner can ocur in any age group it is much common in senior population .Common symptoms of colon cancer are lower GI bleeding, change in bowel habits, abdominal pain, weight loss, change in appetite, weakness etc.

In other hand hemorrhoids is a very common condition with prevalence of around 5% in general population. It presents basically as mass in anus with fresh bleeding at end of defecation. It can be associated with rectal pain, itching and discomfort.
You should visit your surgeon for you condition.(S)he will not only examine you and counsel you regarding clon cancer but also provide you appropriate treatment for hemorroids like diet modification or banding .
