Blood Tests Show Elevated Creative, Calcium, Vitamin Levels. Endoscopy Done To Check GERD. Is The Result Related To GERD?
I am a 37 year old woman (5 9 inches tall & 135 lbs). My doctor recently referred me to a GI to have an endoscopy done to determine if I have GERD, and if so how severe it is. She also took several blood tests and everything came back normal except my Creatinine (1.09), Calcium (10.4) & Vitamin D (28 ng/dL). Would any of these have anything to do with GERD, or should I be concerned about other things?
Hi Dear Welcome to the HCM. Dear friend you have not explained any of your symptoms so that we explain you satisfactorily. Serum creatinine is towards higher side needs to evaluated further by Nephrologist. In my opinion you require to take PPI like omeprazole with some gastopropaltic drug like itopride daily. Light diet, keep the stomach little empty, moderate exercise like daily morning walk. Avoid fatty spicy meals etc, Hope the query is answered. Thanks
