Both Ovaries Follicular Cysts. Heterogeneous Myometrial Echogenicity In Anterior Uterus With Fibroi Extending From Serosa To Submucosa. Recommendations?
report says "today there is a heterogeneous myometrial echogenicity in the anterior aspect of the body of the uterus consistent with a fibroi extending from the serosa to the submucosa. measures approximately 24x38mm in length and AP diameter. Left ovary is within normal limits measuring 23x17x22mm containing small follicular cysts. Right ovary demonstrates a fairly simple appearing cyst complicated my a small septation, or internal daughter cyst. This measures approximately 5cm in maximum diameter. What does this mean in English?
Hi, Thanks for the query. You are having: intramural fibroid of around 2.4x3.8 cms. Left ovary is having follicular cysts possibly in part of development process of follicles. Right ovary is having a simple cyst. May be the septum is giving the appearance of daughter cyst. Usually hydatid cysts will present with daughter cysts but generally they will be more in number. So more possibly you are having simple cyst and that can regress soon. For more details you can ask me through: http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-sree-gouri-sr/63429 Take care.
