Bowel Movement With Blood Clots. Had Hemorrhoidectomy. Is That Normal?
Is it normal to fill the toilet with blood and blood clots during BM ? Today is one week since my Hemorrhoidectomy. I keep feeling like I need to do a B.M. so I sit down and then blood rushes out of me. This happened to me 6 times today. I called my doctor, he said I am fine. I cant quit straining once I get started. Tomorrow I go to the doctor. I have not gone back to work. The only thing I can do is soak in a warm bath or lay down. I would never do this again
Can you please tell me how much longer I can expect to lay in bed.

Bleeding after Hemorrhoidectomy is very less likely, if it is week gone and still bleeding heavily, then it is not normal, you better consult some another good surgeon, there could be some bleeder remained opened which may require intimidate closure, have nice day.
