Are there any other causes of glanzmann's, I'm waiting on a refer to a specialists but no -one is ale to present another cause as of yet
Doctors and scientists are researching what exactly causes Glanzmann’s disease and how it can best be treated. If you have a family history of Glanzmann’s disease or related disorders, you have an increased risk of inheriting the disorder or passing it on to your children.
But very few case reports says it can be acquired.
Thus spending time and money in identifying the cause is not worthy. My advise is to have regular health check up and blood investigations. As your son have brain hemorrhage, follow your neurologists advice and take care of him.
Hope this helps. Wishing you good health. Please reply for further queries.
