Breastfeeding. Missed Period, Have Discharge. Done Home Pregnancy Test. Could I Be Pregnant?

I am currently breastfeeding my 7 month old son and have not had a period after his birth. a week to two weeks ago i started leaking a lot of sischarge. it had no odor. once it did contain a small drop of pink. today i did an opk i mistook for an hpt and the test libe was fainter than rhe cobtrol. i took a real hpt and a super faibt barely visible pink tinted line showed up in the test area within 3 min and stayed for about 40 minutes begore disappwaring. i have d xramps. could i be pregnant?

Hello,

Period is stopped completely after birth if women undergo exclusive breast feeding for initial 6 months.

Abnormal discharge may be due to pelvic or vaginal infection, old blood or endometrial tissue, effect of progesterone hormone over cervical gland etc.

You must repeat the pregnancy test to exclude or confirm pregnancy. Blood test for beta-hCG is more reliable in such case. Maintain genital hygiene. Good luck.
