Broke Neck, Memory Issues, PTSD, Cysts In Groin. Is It Stress Related?
I suffered 2 car crashes one when I was 15 years old where I broke my neck and 4 others died. Three years ago I suffered another car crash when someone ran into the back of a van I was driving, and it sent my memory straight back to the first crash. I had to give up work as I suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The problem is that now whenever I try to go back to work I end up in hospital with cysts in my groin. These only occur when I try to drive more than one day in a row. I do have diabetes and high blood pressure but again I only get these cysts when I try to work. Is it possible that these are stress related to my now fear of driving.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Since, you have mentioned that there develops cysts , when you drive for more than 1 day or try to work and these ( this i.e.one) cyst only in groin area. In my opinion there develops lump ( you calls it cyst in my opinion.)or swelling , that's why you have to visit E R. Cysts never develops due to drive or Post traumatic stress disorder. This lump or swelling ( cyst according to you) may be hernia inguinal . In my opinion consult a surgeon this time and get his opinion. Good luck. Dr. HET
