Brown Discharge And Clotting Continued After Having Periods. HPT Negative. On Cerazette. Advice
Hi - I came off my period 3 weeks ago and ever since I ve been getting brown discharge and clotting on a daily basis. I saw the doctor today, but wasnt satisfied that she told me that everthing was fine. I also took a pregnancy test today which came back negative. I m on the pill and have been for a few ears now - cerazette. I haven t had sex for about 6 weeks either. I ve never had this problem before, can u advise me on what the problem is please?

Hi, If you are not very regular with your OC pill,there is chance of incomplete abortion leading to blood & clots after so called( it may not be period,but the process of abortion itself.) periods. Some polyp/inflammation at cervix, uterus are other possibilities. You need a detailed P/S & P/V examination by a Gynecologist, followed by ultrasound ( if needed) to pin point the cause & treatment accordingly. Thanks.
