Brownish And Runny Diarrhea, Dark And Sticky Stools. Concerned?

My daughter had a temperature of about 99 degrees for one night but consistently had diarrhea for the entire day. Her stool was very dark... almost blackish and very sticky like meconium and slimy. The constant diarrhea did stop but the dark stool continued for another day. Her stool today was brownish and a little runny. Should I be concerned?
