Bruise On The Cheek Bone After An Injury. How Long Will It Take To Heal?
Hi- I fell in my garage and cut the area below my left eye (I had on wireless glasses. I cleaned in well and steri -stripped for a week. It was night so I knew I would not get to see a plastice sx. I took strips off today and the incision looks great. i do have brusing on my cheekbone and below my eye. Is this normal after a week? I did not lose conscious, not getting headaches

thanku for the question. if the wound mark looks healthy and infection free, then its great. however, you should have applied a topical antibiotic cream before putting the tape. the bruise, especially uder the eye takes a week or two to fade off.
