Bruises On Body, Extreme Fatigue After Being In Car Accident. What Could Be Wrong?

I was in a bad car accident last week. I only suffered a few bruises but I have been extremely tired ever since. I can t seem to wake up no matter how much sleep I get or how many naps I take. Caffeine doesn t wake me up either. What s wrong with me?

Hi,

Fatigue after accident is quite common. As there is forceful muscle contraction and traumatic experience increases adrenaline. When adrenaline decreases it let you feel groggy, tired and irritable. If there is no major injury, its typically safe to rest few days. Its common to experience depression as well which can also be indicated by fatigue.
