Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
I am suspecting a boil in your case which is local pus infection caused by bacteria called Staphylococcus. This bacteria gains entry into the skin during minor trauma which commonly occur in hands and feet.
Keep the area clean and apply an antibacterial cream over the bump for two days. Over the counter painkillers can be taken if it gets very painful.
If does not reduce I would suggest you get in touch with your GP for a prescription of antibiotics to clear the infection.

Thanks.
