Bulging Lump Inside Vagina, Occasional Discomfort During Sex. Could It Be From Rectum Or Intestines?

I have a buldging lump up inside my vagina on the back wall. If i push my pelvis forward i can feel it pushing in. Im 39 and have had no children. Sometimes during sex it jabs the spot from a certain angle and it feels uncomfortable, though i wouldnt say extremely painful. My partner says its been there for ages but has suddenly become substantially bigger.
I havent had a pap smear for 8 years and have booked in for an appointment tomorrow but this feels like something is pushing in at the top from outside. Could it be from my rectum, or my intestines?
