Bump On Clitorius. Burning, White Discharge, Mucus In Stool. Had Monostat. What Is It?

I have one small bump on the top part of my clitorius, slight burning and white discharge. The bump doesnt itch burn or hurt. It only hurts when I squeeze it. It appeared 2 or 3 months ago. I thought at first I had a yeast infection so I got monostat for that and it helps a lot. I think it could be a UTI maybe. But what is this bump? I also have stool trouble with mucus in my stool and sometimes blood. What could this be?

Dear Jazz,

Thanks for posting your query in HCM.

After reading your query there are three possibilities of your bump:

1. Sebaceous cyst: A simple over-proliferation of oil gland present on the skin.

2. Mollucscum contagiosum: A viral infection giving bead like or pearl like bump over the skin ( if you are sexually active).
3. Bartholin cyst:Due to blockage of bartholin’s glands which are located on either side of the opening in the vagina responsible for lubricating the vagina( this possibility is less as is painful tender swelling).

All of these things are very simple to treat for which you can meet a Gynecologist or dermatologist who will do visual examination to diagnose and treat it accordingly with simple method. Kindly do not try to squeeze or pinch it as in case of sebaceous cyst it can get enlarged and infected, and in case of molluscum contagiosum it can get spread to other site or may get infected.

Now regarding your stool trouble with mucus and blood you must consult a gastroenterologist as blood should not be there in stool.

with best health wishes of your health,
