Bump On The Finger On The Palm Side. What Could It Be?
Hi I have a small bump on my right ring finger on my palm side. I think it might be a gaglion cyst ? I went to my doctor and they referred me to an orthopedic doctor . They took an ex ray then they tried To drain with a needle. As soon as I showed a little pain they stopped. Doctor said they shot cortisone to help. 2 days later I noticed it had turned black and blue. I made a second appoint they decided to try draining once moore. They Sid if we get blood we will stop the draining and posibley recommend surgery. I m not convinced surgery is the answer. The bump is a little larger than a pea. I have had it for 2 years. It is doesn t seem to be changing in size to me. The doctor thought it grew in size sat time I visited. Any suggestions Thnk you Dino
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having Corn on palmer side of finger. This type of corn is common in the sloe of foot but not uncommon at this site. Apply corn cap very tightly on the part. Keep it for 5days and open, there will be softening of the tissues surrounding corn. Apply second corn cap again and keep it for 4-5 days more. Corn will come out with corn cap. Ok and take care.
