Burn On The Right Calf. Washing Frequently, Applying Green Polyfex Ointment, Alhydrin Cream, Petroleum Jelly And Wrapping With Sterlized Guaze. Treatment For The Ruptures?

i have 2 year son. he got burn on his right calf through silencer of byke 1 and half months back. i started treatment by washing it twice and thrice a day and applying green polyfex ointment followed by sterlized guaze wrapping. it seemed that wound is healing well. then it became drying i applied alhydrin cream twice a day for 10 days and white petroleum jelly on it. it seemed good first then small blisters appeared on it. the blisters coalesce to rupture and ulcerated area with oozing exposed. now i m again applying polyfex and worried about the wound. i m giving brufen syrup and vidyllin syrup for pain relief and increase healing. kinndly help me in the situation.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your son is having non healing burn wound and now it seems that not doing proper dressing as you are doing yourself.
Burn wound takes some time to heal and in this case there is a chance of over healing resulting non healing wound.
Consult your doctor and get dressing properly and daily.
