What Causes Blisters On Back Of Throat Around Uvula?
I just looked at the back of my throat with a flashlight because for the past couple days, it s hurt to swallow, eat, and talk. It appears that I have blisters on the back of my throat, around my uvula. Is there anything I can do to make the blisters go away?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to herpangina. Herpangina is an illness caused by a virus. It's characterized by small, blister-like ulcers on the roof of the mouth and in the back of the throat. I suggest to gargle with salty water. I also recommend using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation in the throat.
