Burning And Tingling Sensation In Throat, Cough, Nausea. Due To Cold Or Heart Burn?
I had difficulty sleeping last night because it felt like acid was going down my throat and I had to get up and cough it out a few times so that I wouldn t choke. The I woke up in the morning and have a very tingly throat (continued to feel acid). I have been feeling nauseous all day and it is 9 pm (Symptoms have not improved). Could this be because I am coming down witha cold or does it seem more like heart burn?
hi there, your symptoms are more suggestive of heart burns caused due to acid reflux or gastritis. You should take an antacid and a light meal low in fat and spices at regular intervels of 4horus to reduce thses symptoms. Also try taking a small stroll in the evening after supper instead of directly going to bed and five a gap of atleast one hour between your meal and bedtime. If tses measures do not relieve you then visit to the ER and an exam by a doctor is warrented to rule out any other cause for the same.take care
