Burning In Legs And Feet. History Of UTI, No Help From Antibiotics. Blood Tests Clear. Opinion?

hello, i am asking for my mom, she is 66 years old and has had a UTI for over a month now, she was prescribed one antibiotic from her doctor and made her really sick and went to hospital ER over the weekend and still has the UTI and blood work came back good but she is having burning in her legs and feet so bad and she doesnt seem to be getting any better ..what else could it be

thank you for your query.

burning in feet and legs in elderly is commonly due to unbalanced glucose levels.
hence in addition to blood tests i would advise you to get a blood sugar work up also done.
meanwhile she can drink lots of water and fruit juices.take rest.and consult your GP FOR change in anti-biotics.
