Burning In The Throat After Food Being Stuck. Pain While Swallowing, Heart Burn. What Can Be Done To Ease The Pain?

Hello, I swollowed a hot chip last night that's wasn't chewed properly. As it went into throat the inside of chip became exposed really burning all the way down. It took 30 secs to. Get cool water which eased it. I've woken up this morn with discomfort at bottom of oesophicus tube and it hurts to swallow. Feels like worse heartburn ever! Anything I can do to ease the pain?

I read your query regarding burning in throat after swallowing a hot chips which was not chewed properly. Now your throat hurt you on swallowing and there is burning in chest also.

As per your symptoms it appears as most probably you are having ulcer in throat and GERD (gastro esophageal reflux disease ).

You may take now-

(a) Tab Ibuprofen.

(b) Warm saline gargling.

(c) Avoid spicy food.

(d) Antacids.
