Burning Pain In Right Knee, Increased With Weight On It. History Of Bruise On Kneecap, Shoulder Surgery. No Help From Cortisone Shot, Meloxicam. Suggest
I have burning pain on the inside of my right knee. I had a cortisone shot in it three weeks ago and it is hurting again. It starts out with a slight pain and by day three I can hardly walk. Any kind of weight placed on it,increases the pain. Finding a comfortable position to sleep last night was almost impossible. I whacked my knee two years ago and developed a huge bruise across my knee cap but also had shoulder surgery and did not work for a year. I was off my feet for the same amount of time. Now that I am back to work-meloxicam isn't working, a knee brace isn't working and the cortisone didn't last any suggestions?
Hello, your' s symptoms are looking like articular cartilage injury which leafs to articular cartilage damaged so that your knee's subchondral bone may be exposed which can cause that type of pain. I suggesting you that you should take consultation with Arthroscopic Orthopaedic surgeon. for that you need MRI of the joints
