Burning Sensation In Left Side Of Crotch After Standing For Long Hours. Is This Concerning?

I recently got a new job where I stand 7+ hours a day. My last job I sat at a desk 90% of the time. About a week after I started, I've noticed a strange burning senation on the left side of my crotch. It comes and goes and feels like icy hot. Its only on a small area really and not actually affecting my vagina. I'm not sexually active but I do think my period my be starting. Never had this sensation before though. Should I be concerned?

i wont really worry
paresthesias i.e. abnormal sensations happen frequently
speacially around menses

still i would have been more comfortable as a dr
if you had the follows tested

1. sugars- fasting and pp- diabetes is one of the most common causes of paresthesias and parasthesias are the most common presentation of diabetes

2. thyroid profile- next only to diabetes on causing paraesthesias

3. usg abdomen and pelvis- to rule out any abdominal and pelvic abnormalities like hernias

suggest you wait for menses to end. if the sensation continues, go for the tests

best of luck
