Hello sir, thanks for asking in Healthcare Magic.
The cause of Non alcoholic
fatty liver is not clear. It can have a hereditary lineage as it tends to run in families. Pain in the upper part of abdomen is one of the presenting symptom of non alcoholic fatty liver disease. It is often associated with
Diabetes or
high cholesterol. Though you dont have sugar and
hepatitis B & C you should also rule out high cholesterol as you seem to be fond of sweets which may contain saturated fats like ghee and vanaspathi.
The most important aspect about control of fatty liver is to maintain proper weight and balanced diet. A moderate physical activity will help.
You should avoid diet with high
glycemic index. These are substances rich in carbohydrates that which absorb quickly and completely causing an immediate fluctuation in blood sugar level like potato, rice, sweets, bread, corn, jaggery, concentrated sugar juice etc., Instead you should opt for low glycemic index food like wheat, ragi, fiber rich vegetables like beans, oat meal will be useful. Saturated fat should be avoided.
Antioxidants like
vitamin E,
Selenium are found to be beneficial but should not be taken in excess.
Many vegetables like carrot, tomato and fruits also have antioxidants and can be added to your regular diet.
I hope this is useful to you sir.
