Burning Sensation In Triceps. Weight Loss Surgery Done. Vitamin Deficiency?
I have been working hard on my over hand serve for volleyball. I went to warm by running and I for a burning sensation in my right tricep. I wrapped it and it felt better. 3 days later I tried to run and the sensation returned. I had weight loss surgery on 12/5/12 and have lost 68 pounds. Is it a strain ot a vitamin deficiency.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Sudden forceful jerk was responsible for this rupture of muscle fibers. Only option is complete rest to effected arm. Ice pack with local acting soothing gel will give you some relief but not cure. For permanent treatment you have to consult a physician and get in his opinion. This is not due to any vitamin deficiency either way. Not related to weight reduction surgery. Good luck. Dr. HET
