Burning Sensation, Redness And Swollen Veins In Tip Of Penis. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Test For STD Negative. Any Ideas?
I am having a burning sensation at penis tip along with swollen veins near tip. The area which burns is red. I have no discharge or blood from the area. This problem is since one month now. Can you pl help me diagnose. I had a unsafe intercourse 5 months ago and have been tested negative for HIV, Herpes and Shyphullus at 4.5 months.
If you got tested just 15 days after the sexual intercourse, then it is possible to have been wrongly tested negative for HIV. Thus, what you should do is get tested again right now. If you are feeling pain, then it is likely that you have hemophilus ducreyi infection. This is because generally herpes and syphillis are painless.
It is also possible that you have a fungal infection. My suggestion to you is to meet a physician who will be able to better assess your situation.
