Burning, Spreading Blisters On Legs Which Pop And Refill. Detected Possible Chicken Pox, Scabies. Any Ideas?
my grand daughter has blisters on her legs...i took het to the doctor 3 weeks ago...they had no idea what they were...said possible chicken pox..or reaction to flea bites....they do not itch ...she says they burn...they are spreading...they pop and refill...i took her again...now they say scabies...yet non of the people in our home have gotten it...and the scraping came back negative....they are growing and spreading....any suggestions
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. As three weeks passed , so neither it is due to chicken pox , nor due to scabies as scrap test is negative. Without physical examination it is very hard to say about diagnosis. If possible upload a picture of these blisters. May be staphylococcal infection, pyoderma, folliculitis. Dermatologist ,consultation may help as physical examination is important. Good luck for your grand daughter. Dr. HET
