Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,
The type of pain that you are describing appears like a neuropathic pain and the distribution of pain is in the territory of right trigeminal nerve. It is good that you have been referred to the neurologist. He will evaluate you and may get few scans. Following that he will start you on medications for control of this pain. The common known cause of such pain is compression of the trigeminal nerve by structure like blood vessel.
good luck.
