I went to a walk in clinic and they tested my urine and said there was definitely an infection, therefore they gave me uti pills, however they put me on these pills for a week, the week is up and it still burns to pee. But not as bad as it did when i first started taking the pills. What should I do
Hello, It is possible to feel burning for few days, even after urinary infection is gone. Just take plenty of water. Take some craneberry juice 2-3 times a day. Take 1 tsf of baking soda in one cup of water, twice a day.It would alkalise your urine. Wait for a week and if symptoms persist, then get a urinalysis and a urine culture done to look for the infection. If infection is present, then antibiotic may be taken according to urine culture report. Thanks
