C.T Scan Done, S Shaped Nasal Septum, Nasal Mucosal Thickening, Mucosal Thickening, Bony Margins Appear Intact. Disease And Cure?
Sir, Kindly let me know the disease I am suffering from & suggestions requested, the following is the report of C.T Scan of P.N.S : 1. S shaped nasal septum seen. 2. Bony nasal spur on left side. 3. Nasal mucosal thickening seen. 4. Mild hypertropy of right inferior turbinate seen. 5 . Ploypoidal soft tissue densities seen involving posterolateral walls of right maxillary sinus s/o polyps. 6. Mucosal thickening / soft tissue density seen involving bilateral ethmoidal, maxillary sinuses s/o sinusities. 7. Bth osteomeatal units are compromised. 8. bony margins appear intact. Thanks.

C.T. scan shows deviated nasal septum with bony spur which may cause bleeding in nose in future..It need to be reduced by surgery-Submucosal septoplasty...
Maxillary and ethmoidal polyps should be treated with Polypectomy..
If you are having blocked nose sensation temporary measures with nasal decongestants can be tried..
Surgery is the definitive care...
