CT Sinus Scan Showing Polypoid Mucosal Thickening, Tissue Opacification. What Does It Mean?
Recently had a CT SINUS scan: Impression: Right maxillary sinus medial wall alveolar recess minimally polypoid mucosal thickening. Complete soft tissue opacification of the right ostiomeatal unit. Minimal luminal narrowing of the left ostiomeatal unit. Minimal scattered ethmoidal retained secretions and /or mucosal thinkening.

hi.. thanks for using HCM.. you are having polypoidal mucosal thickenning in the maxillary sinus, though polyps are common in the ethmiodal sinus, rarely it is seen in chronic sinusitis.. see your ENT surgeon for endoscopic removal of the polyp.. all the very best..
