I am taking 20 mg of Simvastatin and 5mg of Amlodipine. Consumer Report on Health (Oct. 2016 issue) said that these two prescriptions could trigger potential deadly bleeding. I take Amlodipine in morning and the Simvastatin at bedtime. Am I safe taking these two medications. On June 20, 2016, my cardiologist prescribed for me to take 2.5 mg of Amlodipine. I saw my primary care doctor on July 25,2016. He raised the dosage of Amlodipine from 2.5 mg to 5.0 mg. Vita Reagan
