Calf Pain When Walking After Taking Losartan. Will Jetted Tub Help?
I was recently told I have a little pad after they measured the BP In my arms and ankles. rt leg .87 lt leg .74. This because I started having calf pain when walking. This started after I had been on losartan 25mg for 2-3 weeks. Had an incident where I felt a pop in my left calf with severe pain when climbing stairs 2 days after pain started. Should I worry that it could be a muscle strain from the losartan (I stopped losartan after popping incident because I didn't know I had pad yet. seemed like things started improving until MD had me start it again, have taken 2 days now and pain is worst it's been. Pain with first step in right calf and I limp. By the end of work today had to get off my feet. Don't think I can start a walking program as so much pain). Also, Will a jetted tub help the circulation
hello. firstly i want to ask do you have complain any other than calf pain that you had forgot to mention?? e.g heart problem or diabetes...you may mention those too. secondly, yes dear this may be due to side effect of losartan use. you may better consult your physician if he can prescribe better class drug for you. mild warm water tub will also help but for temporary relief. thank you. take care.
