What Could Be The Reason For Having Calf Cramps, Bruising And Pain In Knee?
Hi, I am 58 years old with type 2 diabeties and take 100mg losartan plus metformin and glyburide and am getting calf cramps quite often also was on statins which I discontinued. what could be causing the calf cramps also got bursites in my right knee and having slight pain in both knee for the first time in the last fee months.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The leg problems may not be related to the drugs you are using. The cramps may be due to the defeciency of the calcium, or some electrolytes like sodium, or potassium. The knee pain may be due to the arthritis of the knee or brusitis. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods till you get complete relief. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have a fast recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
