Rabies prophylaxis is recommended for dog bite. One dose of the vaccine is administered on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 30 intramuscularly into the deltoid region. You need to follow this standard regimen strictly so that immunity against rabies virus develops properly. This regimen is standard and is followed across the world. Not following this regimen might interfere in development of proper immunity against rabies virus. Health is wealth. Rabies is a fatal disease with 100% mortality rate. Vaccination is the only preventive measure available. Once rabies develops there is no cure. So give priority to your health rather than travelling.
Thanks!
