Can A Calcified Meningioma Cause Headaches? My name is Cheryl, and I have been having real bad headaches. I have been diagnosed with Calcified Dura Based Brain Mass. I was just wondering do they cause headaches? It is not pressing against anything, but the headaches are bad. Please Help Me.
Meningiomas may cause headaches mostly when there is evidence of brain tissue compression. I think it is not meningioma in your case. Primary headaches (migraine, tension-type, etc.) are possible.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
