Can ACC Reoccur With Head Ache And Nose Bleed?

my husband has had surgery for ACC in the postnasal space 5 years ago and last year he had it removed from his lung. He is now getting headaches and nosebleeds and we are fearful that the ACC has recurred in the original site. Is it possible to do a maxofacila swing for a second time if it has repeated?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Unless proved otherwise this has to be taken as recurrence.
- Needs urgent ENT endoscopy
- PET scan and MRI with angiography
- Opinion of a cancer surgeon
- Plan for surgery and other modalities as would be advised
- It may be possible for maxillofacial swing
- Please get all the things done as soon as possible

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
