It is used to treat narcolepsy and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). More common side effects noticed with its intake include: Bladder pain, passing cloudy urine, painful urination, increased heart beat, frequent urge to urinate and lower back or side pain. It is not known to adversely affect male genital organs such as testis or penis and hence you need not be worried about it. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
