Can Advil Be Taken With Oxycodone For Severe Sciatica Pain?

Hello, My mother has problems with her sciatic nerve and her doctor prescribed Oxycodone-Acetaminophen-325mg. She is in alot of pain and I understand that once the pain as progressed beyond a certain point pain medication sometimes does not work. Is it okay for her to take 400mg-600mg of Advil in conjunction with the pain medication as it is not an Acetaminophen? Thank you, Traci
