Can Aleve Be Taken While On Diazepam?

My doctor prescribed diazepam because I had fell and hit my head really hard on the floor. After going to ER and having a cat scan to make sure everything was ok, I had a followup with my doctor. Which prescribed Diazepam. I was pretty uptight from the fall, and the spot on my head is still pretty sore. Can I take Aleve while on Diazepam? I wasn t even quite sure what Diazepam was for until I looked it up

Diazepam and Aleve(naproxen) does not have any major drug interactions. You can take the above drugs together.
Although Aleve is available over the counter, I would recommend you to keep your treating physician informed about your medications. Since it is related to some kind of trauma involving head, I would advice you to be cautious.
I hope the above information helps you. Thanks for writing into healthcaremagic. Take care.
