Can Alka-Seltzer Plus And Aspirin Be Taken Along With Promethazine Codeine And Cefdinir?

I am taking promethazine codeine syrup and cefdinir 300mg. I just started them today for a cough and fever. I need more relief from the cough. Can I also take alka seltzer plus cold and cough with aspirin in addition? Is there another over the counter med I could take for night time relief?

Hi, complete the course of cefdinir or cefpodoxime proxetil for 5 days.If dry cough is there then you can take cough suppresent like codeine or better is dextromethorphan tablet.But if cough is wet means with expectorant then this codeine syrup should not be taken.Mostly you will get releif after completion of antibiotic course.
