Can Allegra Be Taken While On Promethazine?
My daughter (18) was prescribed Promethazine/Codeine oral for Viral Bronchitis. Is it contraindicated to add Allegra or Zyrtec or Nasacort. I believe my daughter's Bronchitis is a result of seasonal allergies, since she either gets a bad upper respiratory or sinus infection this time of year in Phoenix. Of course I am not a Dr. and going on history. Please advise

Since she is already receiving promethazine which is of same class as that of allegra or Zyrtec. So it's better to avoid or have it in low dose. Nasocort can be taken. All the best.
