Can Amlodipine Bensylate Be Used Instead Of Guanfacine?

my insurance will not pay for guanfacine (tenex) 1 mg that my DR ordered..so they replaced it with amlodipine bensylate 10 mg. Are these two drugs really interchangeable ,as one is for attention deficit and the Other for blood Pressure /heart??????

@ Guanfacine is a potent anti hypertensive molecules as it is
centrally acting anti hypertensive and alfa 2 adrenoceptor agonist .

@ But change of the molecule is the sole right of the consultant
keeping in mind of all parameters of the patient .
