Hi Doctor, I got Ascorils 2 times a day for my cough. After having it, i noticed that my hands are little bit shaky. But I did not notice before this happens. Can you tell me is that because of this medicine or will it cause because of some mineral/vitamin less? Kumudu, From SL

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely due to the Beta adrenergic agonist content of this syrup, terbutaline/salbutamol. Some people are more sensitive to get palpitation while taking this. So no need to worry. After stopping the drug you will get normalized slowly. If still persisting then you might need to take some anxiolytics like alprazolam. For this consult your GP.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
