Can Augmentin Be Given In Conjunction With Crocin For Children?
My younger sister is 8.8 years old. Since sunday she is having 103-102 fever. its not coming down below 102. Dr. Gave us augmentin 375mg fr her throat infection and crocin 325mg for fever.
Is it safe to use augmentin with crocin? Please advice asap. Thanks in advance!
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your query Augmentin 375 mg is an antibiotic containing Amoxicillin 250 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg and it is used to treat bacterial infection. While Crocin contains active ingrediant Paracetamol which is use to lower down the body temperature/fever.. Both can be very well given in conjunction as they have not seem to cause any negative interaction and will be helpful in reducing fever as well as infection..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
