Can Aventyl Cause A Missed Period?
Can Aventyl (Nortriptyline) cause me to miss a menstral cycle? I ve been on 10mg/day for 2 months now. Am over a week late and not pregnant. I take it for chronic daily headaches and it has been working. Did not know of any side effects related to my period could happen.

Nortriptyline has nothing to do with your menstrual cycle. However you haven't told me your age without which I may not be able to guide you further . But generally its Ok to miss a period. Nothing to worry. Only if you have no periods for more than 3 months and you are not prgnant, then you may need to take progesterone tablets to cause bleeding.
