Can BVC Cream Cause Irritated Pimples With Flaky Skin On Face?
Hi DR...Recently i have terrible breakout on my face...So, GP prescribed doxycline for 20 days and BVC cream day and night..I just used for 6 days but I noticed that after applying the BVC cream, my pimple bcm very reddish, irritant and have flaky skin.so should I stop the cream?
As per your query you have pimples and doctor prescribe you doxycline and BVC cream , which is causing problem . Well BVC cream is steroid cream which sometimes cause problem like reddish skin , flaky and peeling of skin as it side effects . In your case it seems to me that the problems are due to side effects of cream . I would suggest you to immediately stop using this cream and consult your dermatologist to discuss the condition with him . For now give cold compresses on skin , apply aloe vera gel take anti histamine like benadryl and drink at least 8-9 glasses of water .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
