Can Bangkok Pills Cause Birth Defects, If Taken During Pregnancy?
My last period was last week of January. Until now, I still don t have my period. What are the chances of being pregnant? I already have 3 PT and all resulted positive. I am taking bangkok pills last month. If im pregnant is there a high possibility that my baby will have birth defects? 25 yo
I can understand your concern. As you have just discovered you are pregnant, you can stop taking Bangkok pills and there will no harm to the fetus. The pill contains some ingredients like caffeine that can cross the placenta and harm fetus by entering its system. In addition, the pills have no safety data associated with it. Chances are less that they will affect your fetus if you just stop taking them.
Maintain your regular gynecological appointments. If the fetus will have any birth defect, the doctor will be able to diagnose it through sonogram. Have healthy diet, regular exercise and take care of yourself.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic.
