Can Benadryl Be Taken Along With Zithromax And Tylenol?
Daughter is 19 with pneumonia. She is on 2nd day of Zithromax as well as 60 mg of prednisone. She was given guafasene with codeine cough syrup for night and took some at 8 but has not been able to sleep for 2 days. Can she take Benadryl tonight to maybe rest better? She is also taking tylenol

The medications she is taking are correct for pneumonia. She can't change guaifenesin with Benadryl because it has expectorant effects that Benadryl can't help. She can use Acetylcysteine that is also a good expectorant.
