Can Benedryl Be Taken Along With Mucinex?

HI I recently had a cardiac ablation and a combo pacemaker and defibrillator (Boston Scientific) implanted about a month ago. I have been having breathing difficulties of hyper ventilation at night while trying to sleep. I also have a constant clearing of my larynx. I have been taking Mucinex (no D or DM). Can I take Benedryl with Mucinex ? I am thinking the Benedryl might calm me down from the hyperventilation which keeps me awake. I only sleep 1.5 hours last night total and need to sleep tonight. Thanks

Benadryl can be taken along with Mucinex. There are no interactions between the two medications.
